From November 5 through 7, 2010, the second "WINDSTOPPER® TRAILRUN WORLDMASTERS“ will take place in Dortmund. On three days, athletes will have to run three challenging stages of varying distances. The fastest of them can look forward to prize money of €20,000. Initiator and organizer of this extraordinary event is PLAN B, who also very successfully organize the GORE-TEX® Transalpine-Run taking place for the sixth time this year. Title sponsor is W.L. Event Location
The WINDSTOPPER® TRAILRUN WORLDMASTERS will be held in Dortmund, the heart of the Ruhr district. The finish on the site of a former coal mine close to downtown Dortmund, right next to a former blast-furnace, offers an extraordinary atmosphere; the demanding and varied courses will be extremely challenging for the participants.
The event will take place under the auspices of city mayor Ullrich Sierau on the new PHOENIX premises.
2010's WINDSTOPPER® TRAILRUN WORLDMASTERS will be held on three days and feature 3 races of different distances. Each "Worldmaster" in the resp. category MEN, MASTER-MEN (ages 50+), WOMEN, MASTER-WOMEN (ages 50+) will be determined by adding the result times of all three races. Each day there will be a Pasta Party for participants and their families subsequently to the races. In the context of the Pasta Party the award ceremonies and briefings for the next day will take place as well as the Pictures of the Day Show.

STARTING FORMATION
Starting formations will be assumed 30 minutes before the official starting time.
TIME KEEPING All participants will receive a transponder chip. On the course all runners must pass between 1 and 7 check points where the transponder chip will be scanned. Attention: 50,- € pledge for the transponder have to be deposited at the accreditation!! Immediately after the last race it will be payed back to you.
FOOD AND DRINKS We will take care of food and drink supply for you during the race as well as at the finish.
FINISH/EXPO In immediate vicinity of the finish you will find the Expo area with our Sponsors and Partners.
RESULTS A result list will be put up at the finish as soon as possible. We will also provide you with the result list as a handout at the Pasta Party. Certificates can be downloaded from the Internet onwww.datasport.com.
